Our domain, our roots

D.O. RIBERA DEL DUERO
The vineyards covered by the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin are located at the junction of four provinces in Castile and León: Burgos, Segovia, Soria and Valladolid, with the River Duero forming the axis that links the various towns and villages covered by the designation.

The climate is characterised by low to moderate rainfall, which, combined with dry, hot summers and long, cold winters, classifies it as a continental Mediterranean climate. These climatic conditions play a key role in the healthy growth of the vines and the ripening of the grapes.

The soil consists of sandy and clayey sediments, characterised by alternating layers of both limestone and marl.

The authorised grape varieties are: Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Garnacha and Albillo.
